The USELESS Waterbottle Is Taking Shape!

On Tuesday, Kathy & Alex hopped into the Subaru and cruised from DC to Pittsburgh. We checked in with our water bottle designers at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, talked shop and launch parties with our retail partners at the Mattress Factory and still made time for a few free baskets of bacon.

Once we hit the 'burgh, we met up with Carolyn Thompson, our Director of Retail Partnerships. Our first stop was the Mattress Factory, where we talked retail strategy with the lovely Catena Bergevin and started discussing launch party plans for our February Limited Edition Shirt release.

We spent the afternoon working at Carolyn's, and the evening enjoying free baskets of bacon at Harris Grill. If you're a lover of bacon and you're in Pittsburgh on a Tuesday, don't miss it.

Design presentations started at 9 AM at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. Our reception was so warm, and the students had clearly gone above and beyond expectations.

We saw seven presentations, and they ran the gamut from sleek and stylish to rounded and organic. Even cooler than the designs was the level of student excitement. Our designers just couldn't have been more USELESS!

Check facebook for more pics, but here are two of our favorites.
